Zulla Mae Sites of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 22, 1919 in Enid, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Paul V. and Beulah Gertrude Curtis Pearce. She was a member of First Christian Church at Sheridan where she had been a member of the Christian Women
Fellowhip and had taught Sunday School for many years. She had also been a member of the Home Extension Club.

Mrs. Sites passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the age of 90.

Mrs. Sites career consisted of being a devoted wife and a wonderful mother to her six children and having been very involved in their activities which included 4-H, Cub Scouts and being a room mother. She and her family were selected Grant County Farm Family of the year in 1956 and 1979. She was a sales representative and a manager for AVA Care Products.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude Pearce, Charles Pearce, Harold Pearce and Roy Pearce.

Daughters, Donna Reynolds of Hendersonville, North Carolina;
Sue Summerford and husband Burnell of White Hall;
Paulette Trusty and husband Mike of Little Rock;
Sister, Polly Mano of Little Rock;

14 Grandchildren; Doug McLain, Cindy Scruggs, Dian Glover, Roger Steele, Kim Slaughter, Kelly Lea, Jill Mooney, Chase Trusty, Shane Trusty, Hudson Sites, Dallas Sites, Bethany Cole, Tobi Sites and Ashley Mosley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Minister Carroll Sites officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation: 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Doug McLain, Roger Steele, Shane Trusty, Chase Trusty, Dallas Sites, Hudson Sites and Toby Sites.
