Carolyn Croy Talbert of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 18, 1942 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Arbie Alvin and Elma Mae Whitaker Croy. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Church and had retired from Dillards Department Store.

Ms. Talbert passed away at her home on Sunday morning January 30, 2022 at the age of 79.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Bennie Talbert who died on January 22, 2022 and her sisters, Jackie Croy, Evelyn Marshall; brothers-in-law Tommy Talbert, Al Alexander and Billy Autrey; nephew Craig Autrey.

Survivors: daughter Beth Talbert of Sheridan; sister, Marilyn Autrey of Sheridan; brothers-in-law Bill (Karen) Talbert, Johnny Marshall and sister-in-law Martha Alexander and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Williams and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery near Sheridan.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence Cemetery or Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Carey Autrey, Quinn Autrey, Taylor Autrey, Randy Bordeaux, John Marshall and Steve Talbert. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Wooldridge, Tom Warmack, Sparky Hedden, Brent Autrey, Nathan Talbert, Dennis Rogers, Randolph Reddin, Larry Lamont, Dugan Roberts, Bill Fiser and Chris Volner.
