Richard David Taggart II of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 17, 1956 in Augusta, Arkansas, son of the late Richard David Taggart and Mattie Joyner Taggart. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. His hobbies included fishing, motorcycles and tinkering in his shop, but what gave him the most joy in life was spending time with his grandkids.

Richard left this earth on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 65, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his soulmate and best friend Nancy McClellan Taggart; brother Jim (Ruby) Taggart; daughter Ronda (Tony) Sinyard; best pal and grandson Shawn (Rachel) Sinyard; granddaughter Candice (Marty) Allison; great grandchildren, Cassidy and Blake Allison, Hailey and Aaron Carter and his nephew and niece Alanna and Joyner Taggart and many more.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Home Chapel with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church or St. Judes Research Hospital.
